Pains Fireworks have been leaders in the display fireworks for centuries, the companies origins date back to the late 16th century when John Pain, an armourer and gunpowder maker ran his business from premises at London's Bow Bridge. It is said that he was the source of the thirty barrels of gunpowder purchased by Guy Fawkes for the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.
